Paul Hawkins

President & CEO

Paul Hawkins attended the University of Wisconsin and founded HawkSoft in 1995 after working in the insurance industry for 6 years. Paul began work on HawkSoft’s first product while working as an agent at Insurance Express, an independent insurance agency in Portland, Oregon. Paul saw first-hand the opportunities for increased efficiency and improved customer service that software automation could offer independent insurance agents. Over the next 5 years, Paul developed software tools that he and his coworkers used to improve efficiency and business processes at Insurance Express.

Sean Hawkins

Vice President of Product Development

Sean Hawkins started work at HawkSoft in 1998 after attending Brigham Young University with a Computer Science major. He has 19 years of computer programming and technology industry experience, working with HP, AutoTime and HawkSoft. At HawkSoft, Sean manages the programming , product testing and database conversion teams as well as planning product development and serving as a member of the HawkSoft board of directors.

Jason Hansen

Vice President of Information Technology

Jason Hansen started with HawkSoft in 1995 after attending Ricks College (BYU-Idaho). Jason has 17 years of programming and network administration experience. At HawkSoft, Jason is responsible for computer and network administration and IT procurement as well as serving as a member of the HawkSoft board of directors.

James Phillips

Vice President of Customer Relations

James Phillips is the Vice President of Customer Relations. He attended the University of Illinois with a major in Agricultural Economics and started with HawkSoft in 2002 after working at Bilyeu-Miller Insurance, a HawkSoft customer. James has 22 years of insurance industry experience in sales, underwriting, marketing and business operations. He has served on the board of directors for the Oregon/Idaho Professional Insurance Agents Alliance, an independent insurance agency advocacy association. At HawkSoft, James is responsible for managing the customer testing, customer service and training teams as well as serving as a member of the HawkSoft board of directors.

David Olson

Chief Financial Officer

David Olson attended the University of Wisconsin and has 38 years of accounting and finance management experience. David started with HawkSoft in 2004 after working as Vice President of Finance at DPI Specialty Foods for 24 years. At HawkSoft, David is responsible for managing the accounting, billing and licensing and human resources departments as well as serving as a member of the HawkSoft board of directors.
