Workstation Requirements
- Minimum CPU: Pentium 4 1.6GHz
- Minimum Memory: 256 MB above that needed by the Operating System (OS)
- Workstation Operating Systems:
- Windows XP®
- Windows Vista® Business or Ultimate
- Windows 7® Pro or Ultimate
- The following are NOT supported operating systems: any Home, Media Center, or Tablet PC Edition
- Internet Explorer® 64-bit is NOT supported
- (Some 3rd Party Integrations may not be compatible with 64-bit Operating Systems. Please contact 3rd party vendors for compatibility concerns.)
- Internet Explorer® 7.0 or higher
- .NET Framework 3.5
- MFC 9.0
- Minimum Monitor Resolution: 800x600
- Internet Access: Required on all workstations for updates, carrier downloads, web integration, email and support
- CD or DVD Writer: Required on at least one workstation or the server for off premise storage and backups
Network Requirements
- HawkSoft CMS requires a configured peer to peer or domain based (recommended) network (required for local installations only)
- Wireless networks are NOT recommended or supported
- A configured network must have a computer configured to act as the network server
- Server Operating System:
- Windows XP® Professional
- Windows 2003® Server
- Windows 2008® Server
- Windows 2008® R2 Server
- Windows Small Business Server® 2011 (Small Business Server cannot be used as a Terminal Server)
- The following are NOT supported server operating systems: Windows Vista®, Windows 7®, and any Home, Media Center or Tablet PC Edition.
- Server must have a network share that is configured to give all HawkSoft CMS users Full Control of the share (Note: Server operating systems cannot be configured using Simple File Sharing)
- Server Hard Drive: Approximately 3GB per 1000 customers
- A mapped network drive to the network share must be present on all workstations used to access HawkSoft CMS
